No this'll be the last time promise :]. v0.44.3 is the latest.. its more advanced than 1.44.0 you see. Its not in the least bit confusing, honest.
Anyway, 0.44.3 has lots of lil fixes for various annoying bugs, like not being able to control planes on the ground, camera control & turretted vehicle settings, various fixes to make the menus clearer and easier to use and the profile images and comms channels in space should work ok now.
Theres also some basic but pretty lil thrust trails on the ships in space, some new camera views, a slightly improved stardrive sequence, and some better setups of the drives and landing sequences n suchlike.
No space combat or trading still as yet, but its gettin closer now

fooli, a few ppl in space started a hobby of flying around inside the outer tube of the space station and blasting the insides.. it looks kinda kewl, kinda wipeout-y.. ive gone all the way round at impulse 0.9 with the latest controls :] (before the collision stopped it)

so the turrent vehilcels have what options?
I realy want a client side option to lock the turrent to leg rotation.
*edit Wow I can actually get on to the server with out being rejected first!

That's a world setting. Some vehicles are designed with turrets that don't rotate horizontally; some are designed not to rotate vertically; and with different combinations of settings, most things are possible.Hija wrote:I realy want a client side option to lock the turrent to leg rotation.

What would be useful, though, is a key to reset the turret position to its starting position - facing forward with vertical turret at 0 degrees. Or maybe having that happen automatically when you quit out of mouselock mode.
And what's with all this "turrent" thing. It's turret, not turrent :)
