Nope, get a job, get a house, and keep it stocked with 6-10 days worth of food and drink. It's only somewhat difficult when the drink market goes under because of bad management or lack of resources.

Well, from what I saw, the investment kept getting drained for one of two reasons.

First, cola was being sold off at a price lower than it was being produced at because someone stopped working. This led cola to be produced for a constant loss to investment until workers were replaced.

Second, there was an inconsistant supply of tea, fruit, or water which led the building to make only 10 or so drinks in a month (usually less). And since you make less than 1s profit per drink, investment would drop once the employee was paid.

The fact that even with 2-3 employees you still only make 1 tea and juice a day when fully stocked, and have a maximum of 13 or so doesn't help things.

An increased production rate, and max stock would certainly help things. So would only needing 1 worker to get full production.

employees and building damage both effect building production, so a owner who doesnt manage the building decently could easily lose money or the building completely, this was partially done to help the players who regulary play vs those who login weekly (or less)tho those who play less often can still profit thru other buildings but retail is harder that way
