this is just a wild guess since i don't know (or remember) if gov investment has ever been used with employeed buildings, but it might be possible that the treasury having a negative amount could result in a kick due to lack of investment.

In an attempt to counter the effects of the bug (whatever the root of it may be), I have increased the wage grant amount from 9d to 5s...this will cover the cost of the wages at the gens, making any investment problems a thing of the past (hopefully).

I've changed the building collision setting (thanks largely in part to fooli) so that now you will no longer be able to walk through buildings. Now you can walk on the tops of the tallest buildings and look down on your sprawling city and think to yourself 'Man fhko is great!' (and yes fhko is great). I'm pretty sure its set to the same setting as on the original roja.

FYI the druid doesn't work so well walking up and over buildings but most other vehicles can, so if your getting frustrated try getting a Uniform and see if thats better. (It was the same way as on roja)

Today in the Zyranian Chronicle

Today I helped out mystixs who wanted a little experience as an op...so I deified him and we went over commands and played around a little bit...and after we were all done I cleaned up after us and revoked mystixs' powers. So if for any reason you find anything is not right with the world (not that anyone bothers to stop by (*glares at readers*)), please leave your post after the silent beep.

[I made sure to restrain our activities to an open field and used building specifically conjured for the purpose of testing so that chances one of us messed something up will be slim...although I did manage to accidently move gk's house to the middle of nowhere hehehe...back where it should be though {hit *movebuilding 254 instead of 354}]
(And no I don't plan to do this regularly for people, although I suppose a little donation to the Feed the President Charity Fund might sway me...[lol as long as puggy doesn't get wind of it I can basically do what I like...thanks puggy your the best! (expect gk of course, your the best too...and umm seer and mit and ummm basically anyone else who happens to have power over me in some way)])

Oh almost forgot...mystixs couldn't see the model or texture for the Battle Station building that I made while we were playing. Not sure why Dustinduse could see it fine and so could I so this may be rooted in the fact that both dustin and I had loaded these from the original roja...or it could just be a lag problem...or a problem relating to puggy's lack of progress on working on his ever incomplete world...hasn't logged in over a week and a half. (thinks backs to many months past when I said the same thing about Hedgehog...me see's a pattern here)

No...I made the battlestation using my powers as a sysop...it was only used for our practicing and I destoryed it when we were finished.

sounds odd. I don't know the first thing about this world but, if there's supposed to be a model there that you're not seeing:

- either you have the model in your client/data/model/buildings directory, but it's corrupt in some way; if it's there, try deleting it and relogging.

- or you don't have the model, and can't download it from the server cos the server doesn't have it either


I've got the battlestation raw model (ie, as it was built... might not be scaled correctly for the world). Sounds like some players have it too. Best solution is for the world owner to sort the model download properly - get the model from wherever and make sure the server's referencing it properly.

the model is there and correct. Most things have the correct model. some textures might be wrong and some vech model and textures are wrong.

I havn't been around becuase i'm busy with my own mpog's and the past 4 days i havn't been well btw :P

The big blocks that are used to cross small bodies of water in Eastern Plains and Fire Valley need to have the correct model/textures...same with the sort of watch tower building found in every city and in the arena.

Also if anyone remembers the general location of the teleports for teams 1 and 2 please let me know.

And puggy would it be possible for you to send me a copy of the Bdata, since you probably won't be around enough to work on it and I might as well try to get the world hyper-moded.

The marauder (vehicle #5) is not loading the model or texture. On my main computer I can see it...probably because I still have it from original roja, but on my back up computer I can't see it...because I lack the model and texture. This is true for it seems everyone else who we've tried to get to view it. So something is obviously wrong...you may deny it puggy but the problem speaks for itself.

Hedgehog (or perhaps anyone else who can help me) can you tell me which texture is the correct one for the Oil rig. I've looked through what I believe to be the whole collection of reina roja related building textures and yet none seem to fit (although the tree farm texture does give it a very nice look).

I also seem to be lacking a couple of the weapon textures (bombs 1 & 2). The marauder model and texture which are currently on vehicle 3 need to be moved to vehicle 5.

Puggy if there is anyway I could gain control of bdata, weapon settings, and vehicle model-textures for zyrane it be very helpful (someone suggested an ftp ).

nah, ftp woulden't work (look up "what is ftp" on google to see what it is :P )

anyway, the only current way to set models and textures for stuff is to have direct access to the server itself

lol, that probably woulden't work either :P

by direct access i mean to actually see and be able to manipulate the server program itself like you can your game client as if you were at the pc it was on.


terminal services would allow this.
so would vnc.
really anything that sets your computer as a 'dumb terminal' that has your pc acting like a monitor to the server pc's base

i had an ftp to x11 and was a sysop and could manipulate models and bdat.. well not bdat cause the pesky reloadbdat or whatever the command was wasn't working.
