Welp, I fixed my problem of the galaxy not letting me connect. I uninstalled the tractor client and the Galaxy client and deleted both their root files, then reinstalled them both, and it is now letting me enter the Galaxy. But i am still getting this error message....

D3D Reset failed - something is wrong with the DirectX setup.
And after recent tries, im an now recieving this error...

Copy Rects Failed
those two seem to trouble me most.
Basically i installed galaxy and ran it. entered my player name, user name, and passwords. It connects me the galaxy. I scroll to quick play, and select Zoric. After a few seconds of downloading welcome files, it shows me one of these messages, with the choice of Abort, Retry, and Ignore. Though when i select continue game, it takes me to cockpit view and i can goto Zion, or Biplaneworld trouble free.
things i have tried include;
-Going into windowed mode while connecting
-Going into small mode while connecting
-Deleting the files Main.opt and Tractor.cfx
-Uninstalling both clients and doing a clean installation
One other thing I noticed, was at the Galaxy menu. When you start it for the first time a screen asks you to select a character, b/t Jesus and Elvis I believe. I chose Jesus the first time, and have never seen the screen again. Could this lead to something?

currently thier is no difference between the characters. if you really want to change that though, you'll have to reset your gal character by doing a !resetme command.
i have the copy rects error on zoric also, think its because of the old computer i'm on though, since i never had it with my good computer.
are your video card drivers up to date?

The copyrects error comes from drawing a jpg image like the welcome screen - it shouldnt actually be a critical problem.. ignore should jus take u into the game without the welcome screen being displayed.
have your tried a different mode for the Graphics-> 'Show While Gone Screen' setting zar? And whats the dimensions for your welcome.jpg?
One way i know will currently cause copy rects errors is if you're using a mode where the welcome.jpg is displayed at actual size (all ShowWhileGoneScreen modes except 6->11 ) but the welcome.jpg is bigger than the current screen size. The player's render screen is always at least 800x600, but using a welcome.jpg any bigger than that in combination with one of those settings modes will cause problems.

Yeah, video card drivers are the latest. but I find it odd that I can connect to Zion, RB, and Biplaneworld with the Galaxy client, but not Zoric. And on the A-tractor client I can connect to Zoric fine, so I don't see how it could be my video card, unless Galaxy is somehow different graphics-wise from the Tractor client?
when i try clicking a menu tab e.g. racing/ exit vehicle nothing happerens on both my versions 1.27 and 1.28 
Mit u got any idea to sort this 1
