Why don't you make a model before you become a programmer? ... Maybe EARN your title as an artist!

To be honest, a reference from Jason is worth about as much as ... I dunno, something equally random and changeable :] (j/k. Well, kinda)
If anyone wants to join the coders group, or artists group go ahead and ask or apply. It just gets a bit disappointing when people say "yay!" and then give up when they realise these aren't things you can learn to do in a day :]
Shohaib, if you can code, and can interpret mit's arcade stuff - a nice easy project (relatively) (so I understand, I know nothing about coding) might be to build a new arcade game for the space station lounges and pubs on worlds.
But yeh, don't stop modelling either :)

programs that duplicate buildings in vice city don't count as coding. If JasonX can back you up then I have yet to hear from him. plus, Freddy Kruger is a pansy...

whats wrong with a program that can export copies of vice city buildings?
i'd love that. especially if it could be used on the vehicles.
where can i find a program that can do that?

there's nothing wrong with the program except that it's really not programming and it can only be used in vice city. As for the site, I don't know the domain name.

Ahhh Shohiab doge has got a point there. Anyways anyone can join any group they just have to make a effort on learning it. I had troubles with modeling and skinning when i first started out but I got the hang of it

Ok if you guys are mad at me and wanna be coders fine. Don't say i have no skills though. Moo Mapper is not just cloning buildings your can alter the code and make it so that something does something totally different then supposed. I made it so your could drive a F*Cking house (I had a lil help though)
So for coding 101

i've said it to others before about other stuff and it applies here to you shohaib:
screw what others think. as long as your happy with what your doing, thats mostly all that matters.
you can program if you want, you can model if you want.
its all volentary so they really have no say in it at all.
you can choose your own descisions and do what you want with your time.
well, that is, unless your some slave that doge owns or are actually being paid by him to do certain stuff

I get what you meen sho even if the others do't...
I have 5 years of studdying under my belt at college, personal expariance and am going to Uni for 4 more years of coding experiance. I can safely say right now if mit gave me the game sorce for the day I could reverce engernear shitloads of new stuff.
Even a small pice of coding and knolage of its interaction with the rest of the program would be a gods send.
Thats all I can safly say I can do, can build quick programms here and there but personaly I don't think people have anough expariance till they hit uni to get into coding sections of the game without pre determined code or code generating software.
