thiers also the fact that its usually easy to find out who destroyed something of yours and then get back at them, and knowing this, people generally wont attack each others buildings for no reason. a good reason being a family war.
was weaps in zoric 7 and buildings were destroyable. yet none ever got destroyed that i know of. actually, i don't think anybody even made any weap facts.
each research will take at a minimum 2 game years to do, so far thiers 38 different things to research. each researched item might vary in min time depending on what it is although none will be fast due to the items they require.
weapons i'm am considering not including. although they could still be included as a seperate researched item. haven't givin much thought about them though.
as the time goes by, buildings will get more expensive. but it will probably be easy for people to get rich. so am thinking of useing 100d per s for the island. new player start cash will be adjusted so that new players will always be able to build a building and a house, that way a player starting late in the island will have as easy time getting started as one that started early in the island.
basic advancement will go:
stone age - walking, generic old stuf - like pre 1800s real time
steam age - steem vehicles and buildings - like 1800s-1900s
gas age - gas vehicles and buildings - like 1900s-2000s
electric age - electric vehicles and buildings - like current/near future with TGVs electric cars, etc
nuclear age - fission/fusion - guess like current/near future too
matter manipulation age (dark/anti matter power and vehicles) - the future
molecular manipulation age (hover vehicles, 'instant item transfer' via self stocking your own made items, no more collisions) - the far future
vehicles 2 threw 19 can be made in facs
vehicle 20 will goto warlord, vehicle 21 will goto junk.
nihilist will get a vehicle of choice between 2 and 19, as will warlord

woohoo. i win i win i win... ide like to thank all the little people... but mainly the renters and employers who made me all my money... see you all in the new game season.
although i do have a question for you zar.... say i pick oh v18 or so... will i still have to provide my own dark matter to run the thing... or can i like get a break from gas for awhile.. or just use common fuel.
