a lot of the demos are 30-day trials. more than enough time considering the contest only has 16 days remaining.

I have already tried screen capturing software.
Each time I start recording either I suddenly get only 2 frames per second or my system just crashes.

stuff relates to XmAkInA's video entry, leig said it was the only entry so far, somebody else said it wasen't even a video but a slideshow of pics.

so stop making excuses about not doing it

take pics, use a video editor to slideshow em

well as most of you know im no artist but i thought i would try a little expirement to see how easy it was to make a movie

anyway dont laugh too much

this was only an example of it can be done and ive spent no time in making it all look pretty, but the content is there

ummm oh ye it took about an hour incuding scouring the web to find software to do it...

compression into useable format (257mb --> 1.5 mb) = "windows movie maker" ummm it was on the start menu

remeber this is a world up for grabs at the end of this

come on guys its not that hard

I would have made loads by now but my codecs are busted...
Anything I record splits up into 4 quaters (like moving the image 1/2 way the the top and bottom).

Well genarly you only need 30 seconds to sum up an entire product... and most game intro's / adverts now last around 30 seconds and can capture the audiance. This was not only to keep the vidio looking like an advert insted of a movie trailer

but to keep the file size down also... if you can keep the file under 10mb and between 30 seconds to a min without the thing looking like a movie... fine

Ghostdog has done this with ease and can say that so far he is in the lead...
What you going to do with your world gd?
