actully, if you have a different computer for her to play on, she could play on all the islands that you do.
but due to the same ip address, you woulden't be able to interact at all besides chatting.

Errr, isn't any form of making money disabled when you have 2 accounts on the same IP?

not on the same IP no - in that case, the game just prevents you trading between those two characters (i.e. you can't buy from the other player's buildings, cant give em cash etc etc).
