I know Zoric is down right now but I'm a little confused about jobs there. Recently it seems buildings with no invest don't keep jobs. We've talked about this in the game but I never found out if it is a glitch or if this is a permanent change? My buildings have been keeping their employees, but as a teacher, no schools keep invest so if this is how it will be I need to learn a new school when Zoric comes back.

Well, it's not invest related. Or at least not related to 0 invest, becasue my cafe (that had over 60s invest in it) was losing it's employee too. (probably still is, i just haven't checked). This problem arose when Zar changed to 1.30 server version. The other side of the problem is that you take a job, and get sacked every 1st of the month...again, doesn't *seem* to be invest related. Here's hoping it's resolved soon so I can actually begin producing stuff at a decent rate again
I debugged the island recently and couldnt see anyone being sacked except in buildings with less than 1s invest. This is a setting that was turned on in Zoric recently but i think Zar had got a different intepretation of what it was supposed to be doing. I believe it'll get turned off soon.
I didnt see any evidence of buildings sacking employees when they shouldnt have when the invest was above 1s, tho will happily look further into it if you still think its a problem.

lol. the problem started when the min wages invest was at 0
i set it to 1 thinking maybe 0 was interpreted as 0, but you confirmed it meant unlimited. And while looking in the Owners Manual to see if this setting went by Deneri or Sheckles, i saw that Wages Source at 1 means the Min Wages Investment setting isen't even used (i keep forgetting to mention that ). its only used in Wages Source setting 4, 5, 6, and 7
kynn recently did a test with 2 ore mines. on Feb 28th, he took a job for 10s in a mine with 6d and a 10s job in a mine with 13d. on March 1st, the job in the mine with 6d was lost, but not in the mine with 13d. kynn sat by the mine and is positive nobody baught from it to increase its profits. both mines were owned by cal and he diden't invest anything.
