ok i think i learned something new....
i logged on to zoric about a week ago i think to pass the time on zion.
i did some simple stuff and didnt pay much attention. i never bought any food or drink because i would just die and lose my inventory that i never bought any and mabey my buildings or something but i didnt lose my cash skills etc. i never actualy saw myself die because i was never on very long. i had put my money in the bank to try to get some intrest as i had used it to get lvl 2 scientist by accedent:P it lagged and bought it twice. then later another skill for another job as i learned you could have 2 here.
then tonight i was actualy on when i died.
i dont know if this was a bug or something but i died and it said hit f11 to respawn and i went ohh thats diffrent. it ran the radio also:P
when i respawned i still had full hunger thirst bars but i thought it must be a game glitch and would go away when i reloged. this is as before if i loged out low with hunger when i loged back much later it would be full and i had guessed i had died. i walked around a bit and then it went you died and i went WHAT? and it said something about lives but it dissapeared and i thought there are no lives right? so i reloged and it loaded ok but all the sudden it was stuck downloading the heightmap or something so i closed it again. this time when i reloged i was in a new town with no money and my skills, jobs, and bank account where i put all my money disapeared. unless this is a bug that means there are lives on zoric or something and when you lose them all you start compleatly over but with no money(might have the money on you but i dont think i had any when i died). i had never heard of this and even after looking now the most i could see is people wanting resets on zoric but not mentioning things exactly like this.
so is this true or was it a bug?
ps. if this was supposed to happen and we have a number of lives and i would require a reset i dont want one i want to be told about this and deleted from this planet or something so if i ever loged on it would be like starting anew or if required with reduced money. this is as i am not ready for the full time required on zoric if this is true yet.

many of the death settings in the game are actually rather unpredictable and/or glitchy. we do have some documentation on what works where and when, but it's not in any sort of manual form..
mostly since there is a plan on fixin that up decent, though it's a rather large scale project afaik, so not entirely positive where that is in the TDL.
(zar, if you wanna change this and/or just wanna see what works funky, search pubsquish's TBI/LATER category for "death". not sure if it's in genie or not atm)

on most economical islands, you have 1-9 lives, when you die you lose a life and respawn, this means you lose, your buildings, inv, bank account, but not in hand cash...
i think though it is a bug that when yo die your health doesn't reset... (as it should do since your turning a new leaf
) but the rest is just normal... but respawn and the death stuff is possibly the most buggy part of the game atm.

actually, unless the death setting doesen't use lives, if you die and have lives left you shoulden't loose anything but a life. which is what is used on zoric.
the bug is that one death happens, then respawning without needs being reset causes rapid death every 1-2 mins until all lives are gone. or, if online at the time, one death and pow, all lives are gone.
