Some minor updates about worlds I'm running
I finally got into using the Amazon Cloud service (AWS) for hosting, this is the same service that Mit is running the galaxy server on and Morvis is using to host Ariya. This means none of the worlds will be on my computer any more so no more downtime happening due to power outages, ISP issues, or my computer crashing or being turned off for whatever reason.
Eden, Pandora, Edolas, Zoric, and Metropolis are now running on the AWS
Pandora and Edolas are now online, but are somewhat empty. They are only being set up as decorative planets for now. Pandora will be a lush green planet. It will have mountains, forests, deserts and lots of plants. There wont be anything to do on it besides exploring for now. I will likely toss some random little 'easter eggs' on it but there wont really be any gameplay. Edolas will be the same, but will have a purple theme and be an alien-like landscape. Metropolis will also be the same, but will be a volcanic hot planet with lava, volcanoes, and a red sky. I'm still letting Haxina play with Narnia for now so that isn't on the AWS yet, but eventually that will be a themed world as well, probably an ice planet. Zoric wont get a theme as that is the world I'm currently building and will resume building in Jan.
Zoric and Metropolis are currently bugged so I can't start them up (will have to bug mit about that sometime). After being fixed, Metropolis will also be made into a themed world, but no clue what yet.
When these themes are completed, they will be made available to others for use. Either as starter world setups by mit or I'll just toss them on TUWR for download.
These themes are just temporary place holders for the planets until I make a proper design for each one. Just something to give the galaxy a bit more life. Zoric will still be an economy world, Pandora will still become a survival world (still undecided over the general theme of survival). Metropolis will still become either a city building sim or a trucking sim.
