Ariya limited opening

I've got Ariya unlocked for now, mainly to see how far things can carry themselves through what's currently scripted. Any problems, post here.

So far the only problem i got is the wildlife, you world basicly gets +700k wild life polys.. It seems like you have set it to spawn those 'mushrooms' all the time, which will force (atleast me) the player to relog the world due to too much lag :?

So, now when im a bit more awake i realized i can just put the draw dist down to 200. So no huge biggie :)

unless the wildlife spawn system has changed, it just spawns the default amount each login. I'm not quite sure what the number I have it set to though.

this is partly a problem with the client.. its rendering wildlife that is out of the view, which it shouldnt.. that'll be fixed in 0.66.2
(it is still quite a lot of mushrooms tho :] - peaks at about 43,000 at 300 drawdist )

So after a bit playing yesterday i don't really think it spawns new wildlifes over time. It just looks like it when looking at the Wildlife polycount the way the number increases, but it does decrease aswell, which i guess is becouse the wildlife moves :)
And why my fps drops over time aswell must be becouse i move aswell! :)

Anyways i made it to research the 'stick' and 'stone' to max level (2), now to find out about that black stone which i have no clue about how to get :D

Also since i didn't have anything to eat or drink yesterday i was dead today, but i didnt lose any progress in my research - not sure if that's intended but it does save players from starting all over again when they die next day :)

yea i'm not sure where hunger/thirst came from, it wasn't like that before. i'l lcheck in to that later
