I was buying gold from cocohead's forge to exchange for s at my very expensive bank,
keep things going smoothly help out the comminuty,
and to my chagrin, other people were doing that too at a rate of 1gold to 1sheckle.

Making money of my 500 investment of 500 gold.

Is it time to set the ratio to 9d per gold?

It is the intention to allow banks to vary their exchange rate and make themselves a profit. Also the intention to add the banker skill, with the banker taking a cut of each gold exchanged. (And the intention to allow deposits and interest and etc.. but thats all much longer term). Meanwhile though, this is how it is for now... there are other things to fix and add first.
