Hello all,
Returning after what must've been at least 7 years. Glad to see that its no longer called Atractor. (Though Zoric 3 or was it 5 will always be my favorite cycle. Mountain races phony yeah!)
Anyways, just wanted to say hello to the community again. Nice to see a lot of old faces, though I don't think most people would remember me. I'll of course be donating to this worthy cause.
Quick question: Do I need to know some knowledge of scripts or models in order to create my own world? Or is it totally noob friendly?

Hi Odin.. welcome back...:]
I remember that name from looong looong ago. Makes me feel old ;]
But you don't necessarily need to be able to program or make 3d models.. Its still possible to make a playable world with the buildings editor and a few settings, and theres lots of content-stuff you can pick up from various places - free models and samples etc. You may also find other players about willing to do bits for you (Or at least suggest ways things can be done).
Without some custom script or nice artwork though, its going to be harder to make a world thats interesting or different enough to encourage others to play.

Welllll... i'd probably say no to both... Certainly world-building isn't totally noob-friendly.. takes a lot of time and effort, requires a lot of knowledge of how things work (and which things don't), its not well documented (yet), and its all very much still 'under construction'. Its only noob-friendly if you're a noob with a lot of spare time, are in for the long-haul and have a special kind of persistenceDo I need to know some knowledge of scripts or models in order to create my own world?
