Loss of 515s

On Zoric.
Gave 515s to biledemon crashed and it disappeared.

Witnesses, BileDemon and Tom

I Gvae hte 515s to get a mine,bil moved away from me and i crashed.

Ok... so YOU gave him the money... and YOU crashed... Hmmmm... Well gee, I really think it's just biledemon with the money here. >_> Either way, he could be faking the crash. And you can't use Tom as a witness, he's always drunk ;)

I dont know if this has already been handled, but the same thing happened to me, and knight a few days back. Which was taken care of. Just wanted to say I doubt they are makeing it up.

Give cash has problems for the obvious reason that sometimes transferring money to someone and they loose connection can cause the client to think its been given but doesn't register with the other person as they lost connection, meaning the money is lost in space.

give cash is a bit risky, so i advise when giving cash, count up the amount, then before giving it ask a question to the player and when they reply give them the cash, this makes certain they haven't lost connection before u give the cash... and make sure they don't move away

I'm guessing you need to code it like you have done the starports yeh? like if the connectio is missing it will tell you and revert the cash back to you?

well its a bit simpler than the starport transactions coz theres only the server and client involved not the server, client and galaxy. The bug occured because when u complete a givecash without the givee actually being present, the server willingly took the cash away from the player nd gave it to the treasury. It was improvising :). The client meanwhile improvised in a different way by falling over dead.
Should all be fixed in 0.1.29
