Almost still a combo of 2's
but added the coarse mud.

Course Mud + x + y.

Shaman said Threes,
so i guess no use trying CM + F + nothing,
'cos that's only 2

Words from the Shaman:

Task Complete : You scultped a crude bowl with the coarse mud, then put it in the fire. The bowl hardened but was brittle and broke immediately.
mmm. Perhaps its in the timing.

It sounds like we shouldn't be cooking it yet. We need to mix it with some other item before you try to add it to the fire.

Timing might mean you put it in to early because more ingredients are needed.

Hate I missed it.... Darn this third shift and the need for sleep

maybe the bowl you make when firing coarse mud appears in your inventory during the task and if you don't cancel the task when it appears, the task finishes and the bowl breaks

or try cancelling it at different times to see if it has an effect
ie, maybe cancel it after 1, 2, and 3 hours to see if one of those gives you a bowl

While working with Coarse mud + fire,
i watched my inventory for 55 minutes,
nothing happened with my inventory though i refreshed every 5 minutes.

Then cancelled. by dropping the fire,
all i had left in inventory was the coarse,
so that wasn't it.

timing ....maybe the time is right when we have tried all 170..or 169 others.
I always wanted to say: "Sounds so silly it just might work".

Aw comeon now peeps, this is supposed to be an easy clue :)
Lets review..

First, mud was mixed with grey sludge, making a coarse mud. Then the coarse mud was mixed [baked] with fire. This almost produced pottery but "perhaps the timing was a bit off".

Easy, surely :)

i'm guessing that means we need to cancel it earlier, or its random.
we can't make it go longer (unless you've added some new way we don't know of)

if i were to guess it would be either of these:

course mud + 2 fire, (more heat = faster baking)
2 course mud + fire, (more mud = slower baking)
mud + grey sludge + fire, (the components so different timing of adding ingrediegnts are put together)

OR if mit was an evil wee %*%*%*%*% it's the second time you try doing course mud + fire

at least one of those answers is correct, but i think a few people have got there now.
Im hoping the next stages are a bit less obscure and won't need so much prodding ;]

I find it funny using coarse mud outside its applicability within the given historical time frame we find ourselves: ie plaster.

So am I to understand the TU we all knew and loved has now been replaced by, essentially, a very arduous, time-consuming doodle-god?
