mm, checking here i see the client using only 161Mb.. Not exactly optimal but far from the Gb you report.
Does it use a Gb from the start or only after you do a particular thing in space?

this bug has been around for a while (if i'm thinking of the same one) i can't find an older topic, but i'm certain one was made in the past.

anyway, every time you resize the window or go from windowed to chatbox to windowed the client will just use more and more memory. i've found that it will eventually get up to 1 to 1.5gb and then crash.
