Syv ancient statue plinth with fire effect in one hand

Post by flametard »

you guys know the model I speak of? Well i was using it on xebec as a "beacon" building, the fire can be seen from a far distance at night, letting players easily see where their town is, or something...

anyway, it seems as tho that model no longer has the fire effect attached to one hand, does anyone know what im talking about? I'll give u a horse on xebec for this model which has the fire still in hand.

got it, found the old file in my old data, before i had stretched and moved it in the model convertor. seems the adjustments in the model convertor had somehow erased the effect. it works fine now, people will be able to build beacons on xebec, and feel like theyre in LOTR return of the king

If you change a model in the converter, you need to make sure the relevant options are checked before you save it. In this case, export options for effects. I gave up asking mit to include that stuff in the atm file years ago. It's all stored in the export.opt file the converter creates when you save a model; but, of course, you won't have that if you grab it from your models folder or the model library or wherever.
