Gamma-Burst Fatal Error on XP SP3

Description:
Some times (and most regular) using 'Del' key initiated Fatal-error memory cant be read/write (don't remember). In fighting this situation increment one death.

Steps to Replicate:
Pressing 'Del' in normal- or fight-modes.

I can't replicate this on XP SP3. Having looked through the code i can see no reason why there'd be any problems there.. at least definitely not if theres no missiles or other weapons in space at the time. Does pressing END even in an empty system caused problems for you?

a memory can't be read/written error sounds like it might be more of a hardware problem to me. possibly with the ram.

Yeah.. I was detect fatal error after pressing Del (without Gamma burst)
