think about it...

speedy becomes president of the galaxy... then a few dys later he's appointed as leader of the NR, therefore the leader of the whole galaxy, as well as the president? its a conspiracy.

there have been fortold days when one would come, a leader who was respected in the community at first by all, but then turned pure evil once he attained control of the whole planet. Look at the example of the humon Barack Obama, for example. Having established control of the humon settlement "the united states of america" in 2008. Then goes on in 2013 to wage the most gruesome war no the planet earth by convincing the populus of that planet that becoming a serial killer was cool. But thats just one example of one of these types.
