No sir, he doesn't move. He's just a sculpt I did in zbrush. I'll need to become handier with the more tride and true arts of 3d modeling before I end up with properly segmented and rigged models. I had neat scorpion-spider thing to show you but somewhere along the line I twisted up a set of his legs and couldn't get them back into position properly, got mad and close the file out without saving. I'm at work right now, but when I get home I plan on working on some stuff. Either getting the hang of making UVmaps or some more highpoly sculpts in zbrush, (that I will enevitably make low poly and display for you.) The time has come for less talk and more action, so for now I'm going to get back to work and will post next when I have something to show.
Hey Jay good to see you back.
Heh UVmapping can be a real pain in the @$$ when there are tons of overlapping, trust me i know..
I'm currently learning how to make 3d models even through i learned how to texture first.
TU is the best playground for people who want to put their skills to the test. it be 3d modeling, texturing, scripting or game making (planets). TU is the best FREE place to build up those skills.
My very first texture i did was the HD Lamborghini Texture (Hovertrans in Zion).
I remember that holloween type planet you had with floating eyeballs.
