i guess it could be called a bug...
on zoric, i have many items set with a max carried per item in the names file.
it works, but theres no way for a player to know that they have the max capacity, or what the max carryable amount it. when the limit is hit, the game just wont let you unstock anymore.
it would be nice if it said "you can only carry x amount of this item at a time"
