the great Stimutacs decrees:
Dear Staff
Ok all i know is that when i logged on one time i noticed it said "start game" where "continue game" is supposed to be. now im in M-25 with a shuttle. I seem to have all my credits but 0 inventory. heres a list of the important things i have lost:

1 alien freighter
1 phasers
1 L40 stardrive
1 25 ton cargo bay extension
1 infimp drive

If one of the staff, who is even greater than I,please grant my possesions back?
I, on behalf of the entire galaxy, would be eternal greatful.
thank you
The Great Stimutacs
that is all

it is beleived that the great one did not type *resetme, because he retains his 80,000 credits, if he had reset, he would have 100cr. and the great one beleives that he did not fly into a star, because he awoke at the last place he was, M-25. had he flown into a star he would have ended up in cirrus minor. myes.

curious. upon closer inspection, the problem seems to have never existed. was the great one hallucinating? bizarre. nevertheless, i trust the great ones judgment. i believe he was telling the truth.

please. move along. there's nothing to see here.

I think that happened to me once as well. It may have to do with a slight error in the data streams as you start up the client and load game items from the server.

Makes sense, i imagine the game shows the shuttle to be the "default" ship rather than the "starter" ship so that errors are less likely. If it generates a player like a shuttle, then it won't be searching for the ship if it can't find it anyway. Plus sometimes when people have connection problems with each other, the other person appears to be in a shuttle, even though you know otherwise.

Nope, this is a bug that affects various people from time to time. The reason stim got his stuff back is cos I gave it to him. The reason he lost it in the first place is still to be determined...
