ok, i've decided to announce it ahead of time this year since by now many already know i hand out stuff on zoric on xmas and sometimes other holidays. well, this year is no exception, and it will be a nice xmas for the players of zoric.
it will start at around 12am xmas eastern time. i will do a server recycle to kick off any AFKers and add a special script. that's right, this year the xmas gifts are scripted so you wont have to wait to get your stuff.
when you log in on xmas, you will automatically be granted several things:
1 Jetsled, 12 spiced rum, 12 Peanut Brittle, and 500s
you will also receive 25 'Presents'
these presents are usable items which will give you a random item from a list of things.
the presants can be sold to others, you can use them at a later time, you could use them right away. the choice is yours.
what are these items? well, i'm not going to list each individual thing, but basically:
cash wise, it ranges from 25s to 1000s. and roughly a 1 in 250 chance of getting 5000s
food wise, chances are high to win a food or drink. but all the food and drink prizes are only for 10 food or drink.
wood and bricks that range from 100 to 500
bunch of other misc stuff (skills, other items)
whats the most valuable thing you could win from a present? no, its not the 5000s.
it is a special usable item that will not get removed from your inventory when used. it will set you to vehicle 24, the god police car. the chances of getting it are the same as getting anything else in the list (besides the 5k) and only *1* will be handed out. thus, my assumption would be that it is beyond valuable.
*please note that vehicles received via the xmas gifts do not count towards royalty*
