Zoric Industries requests federal bailout on planet zion.
Due to current economic standings, Zoric Industries is requesting a federal bailout of 1.2 million sheckles on zion
Zoric Industries is company that started out on planet zoric hundreds of years before the galaxy was even discovered. Since its founding, it has had a foreign divisions on numerous plents and always been a very successful cooperation. However, lately there has been much worry with the foreign motors division on planet Zion. The zion division has two departments: Zoric Industries Cars (hereafter referred to as Z.I.C. ) which produces vehicles, and Zoric Industries Planes (hereafter known as Z.I.P. ) which produces planes.
both departments have already suffered massive losses due to the current economic crises on zion and have already had to shut down 1 plane manufacturing plant and showroom and 1 car manufacturing plant and showroom in the past month on Zion. Only one of each remains at this time and they have both had to lay off hundreds of employees and are now running a skeletal crew due to lack of business. While Z.I.C. is still barely turning in a profit, it's profit is counteracted by the fact that Z.I.P. has not sold a plane in a while. Both manufacturing plants are running off of material and cash reserves which will shortly be depleted due to lack of material production on zion which was caused by the recent economic downfall.
If these vehicle manufacturing plants have to be closed, then it will result in an economic crises on planet zion as many employees will be out of work and no vehicles will be getting made which will result in less business for any other businesses on the planet. the fuel market will especially suffer from the loss of vehicles.
in exchange for the bailout, Zoric Industries agrees to put a temporary halt to all pointless spending on executive and company perks such as private space ship tours of the galaxy, etc.
on a lighter side, the Zoric Industries Department of Planetary Research and Development has not yet been effected by any of the economic hardships on any planets in the galaxy. They were in fact able to successfully terraform there latest Zoric colony, named Zoric #24. It was a planet from the outer stretches of the galaxy with a much colder climate so developers were unsure if it would even be possible to terraform, but they were successful. Developers and Researchers are still working and struggling to make Ciroz and Sabrada habitable.
