I recently tracked down an IHM members trade route, this member was animal who flew a alien freighter, i could tell straight away he was hacking first of all, he took well over 15 counters i even restocked, returned and guess what he still took my extra 15 counters, secondly, i fired at him from a distance of 200 with a missle he then teleported forward to a distance of 600. He also vanished off my system twice (im guessing maybe log out and in). I wouldnt mind but i had 2 chances to kill him in which i should have done so but he hacked his way out and saved his cargo.
We do not need these kind of people in our game, and i suggest a temporary ban or reset just to cargo. We have had this once before with hunter and now this we need a strict rule against these people because it ruins the fun for others like myself.
I tracked that guy for a while noticed where he stopped (m-145) waited for him to arrive and then got nothing out of it. As you can imagine its rather annoying

ok, this is ridiculous, i'm sick of people picking on me, i've done nothing but trade since i started playing but all people want to do is blow me up 
I was trading away happily when this baladin guy appears and fired missiles at me, I used a couple of counters then he just disapeared from the list of players, i started to fly away then his name appeared again, i was pretty laggy at the time and pretty steamed about having my hard earned cargo taken but then there was a bout of lag then i was way away from where i was and he was not on the list of players again, i was like "wtf" and stardrive away as soon as red alert cleared.
Maybe he was lagging, i know i was.
I don't even know or care if cheating is possible but please leave me alone, i'm just trying to play.

Don't be upset for losing cargo, I don't know about Baladin, but I'm a die hard pirate. That meaning that I shoot everything that has cargo. Unless it's water. If I get you, I hope you don't take it personally, life's a bitch.
Lag HAS been known to affect combat, it can even sometimes seem that the target is under some kind of....manipulation. Lag can even fool you to think that the target has invincible shields.
Heck bal, I've seen players suddenly be in one place, me shooting them, then suddenly they dissapear from my view. Lag, it's a bitch aswell.

Mishka think about it though, a alien freighter in red alert, manages to outrun a gal cruiser doing 150 and is only 200 distance away from it... while firing countless amounts of missles (he even restocked once). And the alien freighter JUST HAPPENS to move 400 metres forward as soon as i come into close range with it? You seriously think lag would work in favour of him like this? Everytime i get close he flies away?

And i wasnt picking on you, you just happened to be in a faction i was targetting at the time to see if you were as good as you mentioned in the forums. You have to realise that if you are in an enemy faction you will be targetted cargo or not.

Finally i said to you i have given you a warning if you dont want to take this warning as a gift and continue to whine ill report this to fooli and he will take matters into his own hands.

To add to that i fired exactly 30 missles in that whole bout and you kept going?????

Lag doesn't make someone go faster but for the person lagging it can look that way.

I happen to know Animal pretty well and I can tell you, no offense animal, that I'm surprised he's even able to get on the internet given his lacking computer skills, I think accusing someone like animal of hacking is on par with the Salem Witch Trials.
