I'm getting the [??] stuff again on the chat channels. This usually means some part of the chat server needs reset, right?

yea. happens when somebodies pc changes.

one of them is me since i just reformatted and installed vista. don't know who the other is.

Me. Bought a new computer with Vista. And changed location.
