Description:
Every now and then i have constant spec lock every time i move. Zar has set up a command for me to unlock myself but it doesnt stop me from being locked time after time. When i tried to swim from 1 island to the other i was specced 18 times. I think im the only one who regularly gets this bug and im not sure what causes it.

Wow it seems to be getting worse, im resetting my client every 5 minutes, even when i unlock it, i get locked like 2 seconds after i unlock. Its rediculous

Tried redownloading and reinstalling your client? Maybe you have a currupt file in your installation or in your downloaded folder.

Yeah i have just now i think it may be working again but ill try not to get my hopes up, because knowing my luck, lol.

Hey fooli help Baladin out.

He has this problem is just about every planet, even my planet claden.

I have to unlock him just about ever 2 sec to 2 minutes.

Its annoying to me and specially to Baladin.

Nothing to do with me.

Speclock is probably being applied because world servers think you're hacking.

This could be because a) you are, or b) you're not but it thinks you are.

On your own world, you should be able to fix it by unchecking the "protect against speedhack" box in the server options.

On other worlds there's nothing you can do except to stop doing whatever it is the game thinks you're doing :] If you're running cheating or hacking software, well don't. I'm not sure what else could be causing it... maybe some other prog you've got running (that might be perfectly innocent) that's causing these issues. Or it might be a bug, but as it's just a few of you getting it, most likely there's some common prog you're using that creates the issue.

I usually have about 4 browsers, limewire, msn, flashget, avg, and maybe another game open (not all the time but most).

Ive never hacked or even tried to

so i havent a clue what it is.. although when i was on the republic i did notice that i got spec locked alot more frequently in a certain type of vehicle. Either way it is an annoying problem.

if limewire is using a lot of your bandwidth it could be causing it.
try limiting it to only half your bandwidth and see if the locking still happens.
