i was out in space today with Debbie then i closed the game and reopened it and i had a interplanetary shuttle with none of my inventory but i had all my money, and sheba saw me in my alien freighter 1 min before this. can someone tell me what they think happened? or can mit or fooli help me?

Without wishing to appear... accusatory... it sounds like you tried what I believe is known as "suicide jumping". An exploit we've fixed, with pretty dramatic consequences :)

Very odd if that's the case.

Sundiving, suicide jumping, whatever it's called: you load up with cargo somewhere far away, crash into the sun, and end up back in the starting system. So you can quickly transport stuff from miles away to the home systems and make a large profit without having to travel. Except you can't, not any more. When you do that, you end up with no ship, no inventory, no cargo, nothing except your money. Which sounds exactly like what happened to you, hence the comment.

No-one else has reported galaxy problems, as far as I know. I'll have a look at your account and see if it sheds any light. If, however, you just crashed into a sun... well, tough, that's what happens now. You lose all your stuff, cos the sun is Quite Hot :)

Like i said i met Debbie out in space to see if we could see each other. i havnt done space trading in atleast 2 months so i didnt have any cargo, and i didnt crash into any sun, all i did was closed the game and reopened it, i was really confused about what happened cuz i lost everything

I kept doing it when I was a noob and thought it was harmless.

It probably was at the time but not anymore. It was used to gain quick cash, but now, it means you lose everything and start from fresh. Just don't go into the sun or even close enough that the orange bar decreases.

This is exactly what happened he had an alien freigher one minute in space then next moment he landed on 420 with nothing. He didn't have time to dive in the sun.
Somehow everything he had disappeared. The logs of planet 420 could also be checked to confirm this.
