Space combat a bit broken.

Description:
1. Ems do not have any effect whatsoever. They just seem to float past and not attach to the enemies ship. They are either blocked by nothing or the standard cm's. Not sure.

2. Sometimes missiles don't reach the target when fired. Tonight, Alfred and I did some testing and he fired some missiles at me. To my surprise, I never saw any alerts of any kind or the actual missiles hitting my ship. A restarting of the client fixed this, but only temporarily. It just seems to be really inconsistent.

Steps to Replicate:
Em's just don't work period.

As for the missiles, Alfred and I failed to find any patterns as to why they did not work. Could have something to do with fed space safe zones extending out farther then they say they do, but again, we didn't find any pattern. Missiles just worked some of the time.

Or, it could be some weird connection problem. Which, I hope isn't the case.

I believe this is connected to the bugs in the peer-to-peer connection system and should be fixed for 0.51.8

I had a recent space battle (the video) and we didn't experience none of this bugs.....

In the video EMs worked perfectly, actually you can see how one of them hits fhko and another disables me leaving us disabled next to each other.

Misseles worked perfectly aswell as it can be observed in the video.

So I would say that for me space battle is still how it should be.

aye.. all the bugs i fixed were intermittent.. sometimes it'll all work fine, sometimes it would randomnly lose some or all of the messages.

I can't be sure of this but I still don't think EM's work. I've fired some that were not blocked by gamma's and nothing seemed to happen.

i was able to successfully use an em against somebody last week sometime, or the week before. don't remember exactly when it was.

Ive only seen one EM work for me in the last few months. i dont know if this has anything do do with it, but it worked when i used up all my gammas, and the last burst i had was an EM, i used it an it worked. all other times ive tried to use an EM it just doesnt work, i can see EM explosion hit the players ship, but they are unaffected. I beleive that they arent seeing the EM explosion even tho i can see it.

EM's fired at xyience53, no effect, and not blocked by gamma pulse. EM's fired at baladin a few days ago strike their target. Go figure........
