Registering a world

Registering a world

hey im interested in starting a world again and registering it, would i have to create it it first as an unregistered world?, also how much must i donate to get a registered world :)

Actually I'm not sure we have a standard required donation for registration, other than "a fair bit". The donation is just a donation; the registration is sort of separate, although related (in that if people donate a few tens of dollars we like them so much we'll register their world). Complicated but that's the way it is, cos we're not "selling" registrations.

Anyway: having said that, it would very much make sense for you to build an unregistered world first. Partly so you can see whether it's the sort of thing you really like doing before going the whole hog and registering it (building a world takes an awful lot of time, and work); partly so you can see whether the game actually lets you do the sort of thing you want to do (not everything is possible; not everything is working properly :] )

Unregistered worlds have all the functionality of registered worlds. The only differences are the max number of simultaneous players (limited to 6, I think, in unreg); the name and position in the galaxy (not permanent, with unreg); and whether or not you get a planet graphic (you don't, with unreg).

So build away, and if you like it, why not chuck us a few quid then.
