nm. it just needs a relog to see it since it gives no confirmation and the skill remains in the list.

mmm.. just checked this and it seemed to work fine when the parameters were correct - it produces the message 'Skill Removed' when the action is confirmed and the skill shows as removed in the *showskills command.
(It won't update the local client if you try to remove your own skill (was this what you were trying?) and this is fixed now (0.50.7) ).

There was also no message displayed if you tried to remove a skill that a player didnt actually have... perhaps this was why it seemed to fail 'quietly' the first time? I've added a message in 0.50.7 to confirm this situation.

I suspect the problem is a combination of lack of warning messages when typos occured combined with lack of update of the local client stats (both of which have now been fixed), but could you re-check and confirm that the behaviour for you corresponds to what i've described here.. just to make sure nothing weird is going on?
