Something weird happened today...

I was having a little battle with a player called "dudeandduder" or something like that.... wanted the little bounty he had and so I attacked....... so I shot the first missile at him and surprisingly the missiles don't take his shields down!!! But, he didn't use any countermeasures!!! I thought that maybe I coudn't see the counters because it was a bug... but I shot all the missiles my Alien Mega could hold wich were much of a higher number than how many counters his cobra could hold, but I shot them all and this guy still had the shield up!!

How did he make is ship invincable? Or how did he increase the amount of countermeasures his ship could hold? An alien mega can hold more missiles than a cobra can hold countermeasures..... so he didn't use counters...

Ah and I forgot to mention.. he didn't use any other kind of defensive mecanisms! I During the battle he shot me some missiles so I used 2 EM's on him and they had no affect at all!! What is happening here? Did I miss something?

i see a red message saying 'in federation safety zone' at the top.

if he was in the safety zone, your missiles wouldn't have hurt him. but i think its supposed to block you from firing missiles at somebody in the zone.

No he wasn't in federation safety zone, that screenshot I took it afterwards so that you could see I wasn't lying about the missiles, the status of his ship and mine and so that you could see I asked him.... and got no response.

If he would be in federation safety zone I wouldn't even be able to fire the missiles from my ship or the lasers... try it yourself.... it gives a messeage that tells you can't because of where you are, so you can't even fire your weapons from you ship in federation safety zone...... yes the battle was near zion but out of the bounds of the federation safety zone....

Why am I in this pic in federation safety zone? Well as I said before this pick was taken afterwards when I ran for cover because, my goodness, this guy wasn't taken any damage from everything I shot at him. I have been in countless of battles before and nothing like this has happened to me before.

I'm not complaining......... I'm just saying that was really weird....

i saw a shuttle spawn with 100 cr then 2 seconds latter it had like alot of cr more than i had so i think there may be a hacking problem mit and fooli please shed some light on this.

I've found that you don't always get a message if your opponent is in a safety zone and you aren't.
