slope1/slope0 react different to hill climb vehicle setting

trying to set my humaniod characters to not be able to climb steep slopes and trying to make sence of the hill climb settings. i noticed that slope0 (model rolls and pitches along with landscape) reacted completely differently to the hill climb mod and max settings than the slope1 (model stays straight up on unlevel ground) in fact with slope1 the model couldnt go down hills and it could fly uphill with ease. since i cant put in negative numbers then i figured it was worth a post, to see if anyone else noticed this.
