Question On Materials

Ok, I got the Buildings editor up, and I set the materials regd to 50. But when I go to build it it says it needs 0 materials. Also, how do I set what materials it needs?
A little new to this. I did a brief search and found nothing.

the buildings tech level combined with the Building Process setting (in *settings->buildings) controls what is needed to build each building. the mats required thing defines how much of it is needed. New Building Tax also defines the amount of cash that needed if the building process setting that your using requires cash only or tax.

some of the building process settings are:
# 0 - Buildings require materials based on their level (level 0 requires wood, 1 requires wood and stone etc), and a tax that is paid to the treasury and the town if applicable. All buildings (except town plinths and farms) have to be built within town limits.
# 1 - Buildings don’t require materials, just cash. All buildings (except town plinths and farms) have to be built within town limits.
# 2 - All buildings require ‘Wood’ to build (irrespective of level). All buildings (except town plinths and farms) have to be built within town limits.
# 3 - Buildings require materials based on their level (level 0 requires wood, 1 requires wood and stone etc). Buildings can be built anywhere.
# 4 - Buildings don’t require materials, just cash. Buildings can be built anywhere.
# 5 - All buildings require ‘Wood’ to build (irrespective of level).Buildings can be built anywhere. The wood required is deducted immediately from the players inventory - if they dont have enough they cant build the building.
# 6 - As 5 but buildings can only be built in your home town

theres alot more, but i don't have them on tuwr yet and can't think of em offhand.
but if you highlight the setting, you can scroll threw the different things by hitting home/end.



so, if you set building process to 0, new building tax to 100% and in the bdat, set a building set to need 100 mats and set to tech level 1, then on your world it would need 100 wood, 100 stone, and cost 200s to be built. (the cash amount might be off, i can't recall the exact tax per tech level calculation rate right now).
