looks down to me too but you can still connect to a few planets if you let the client go thru its process then click dont connect then click server list there are 7 planets there. not sure how many are online but Planitia shows offline in that list but you can connect to it

yeah galaxy is offline, most likely it needed to be offline to fix the chat server, my best guess it will be online within the next day or so .... remember is just a guess

the galaxy went down the moment i connected xebec last night at around 1:00 a.m. eastern standard time. cause of the timing I had wondered if my planet had anything to do with the server going down, hope not. i connected xebec earlier that night with no problems. woohoo! gotta thank the router tutorial zaroba and and the staff posted, tho it will not save him from the great one, Stimutacs's wrath.

Yes, galaxy fell over last night. Because of where it crashed I'm waiting (well, more fruitlessly hoping) that mit will get time to look at the cause before I reboot it. I won't wait for ever though - watch this space. I'll post again when it's back up.

Ok, in the absence of any sort of response from Mit I've just restarted the server. Galaxy should be up and running again. Anyone spots any weird behaviour... let us know.
