Configurable item sizes/ functions / properties(Done 0.49.9)

Post by Mit »

Must do for 0.49.8 - Allow item sizes to be changed (probably with..

Code: Select all

*setitemsize <ITEM_NAME> SIZE
Changing item functions / food properties etc would be nice too, tho sizes should be priority.

and um, didnt do for .8, but its on its way for 0.49.9.

Note - to simplify things, ive changed all default item sizes to 1 - so that if you set the capacity on a vehicle to 50 it will mean, by default, you'd be able to carry 50 items, no matter what the type. The ability to have some objects being bigger than others would then be optional, only if u need it.

Thought I'd point out that this wasn't ever added (I checked) and that I will require it...and would prefer the 'other editable functions' too...

I tried changing the size of an item (called 'Manpower') that originally had and item size of 1 by typing *setitemsize Manpower 10...I restart client and server...it still says item size = 1 (in world builder item list)...I even tested the size by actually carrying some of the item and it only took up 1 capacity...

Unless I'm using it wrong...(already tried *setitemsize Manpower Reallybig)...it's not a valid command...

correct, doesn't work.

we were talking about it in This Topic

i tried both *setitemsize and *changeitemsize
tried with item name, tried with item number
tried with a comma between the item and size, tried with a space instead
tried all the above combinations with a dot instead of an asterisk

had no confirmation from any of them
*itemproperties still reported the same size after each one
a car with a capacity of 100 still had only %20 when carrying 20 of the item.
and relogging didn't do anything.
