Description:
When I open up my client I hit a black screen...after hitting esc a couple times I see a few familiar boxes from the welcome screen...I click in the general vicinity of where 'continue game' should be (although all I see there is black with select arrow pointing to it)...and I wind up in space that now looks like above...no planets are visible.
Not sure but the initial loading bar that appears before client window comes up seemed to be moving slower than normal.

Steps to Replicate:
Download beta patch 0.51.3 and do normal patching procedures...then start client.
