Yes, about the wiki...there's something I want you people to give your opinion about: http://editthis.info/universalwiki/Talk:Main_Page .
In a couple of days, if there are more votes for 'keep the picture', the picture will remain on the main page. If there are more votes for 'remove the picture', I'll remove it.

a pic is a good idea, but a nicer, more unique picture would be better.

I'd rather not have movie files, flash animations or any of that stuff directly on the wiki. There's no problem with a link to them, but pages should be fast to load and not slow down your PC.

That's good...I already gave up on the idea...

But I will update the Fhko article to have the links to the downloadable .WMVs available from TUWR server.

It seems we have a persistent spammer on the wiki...how do you revert a page to the previous version?

probably via the history page somehow.

on a side note, lol, its one of the reasons tuwr isen't open for anybody to edit (need a password which i can easily give to anybody who wants to help). i'm sure since its just started, spam will come more and more often. like here, several spam messages a day, and sometimes theres tons of them.

locking the front page might slow em down, but they will just start to spam for other editable pages.

what kind of spam is it? if it seems like it could be being done by a member of the community (stuff like 'so and so sucks' or whatever), save the IPs and see if anybody logged onto a world with them. or fooli can check for forum users who use the IPs. atleast then you know who it was and can do what you want to them.

The same kind of spam as on the forums.
<useless message>
<spam link> | <spam link> | <spam link> | <spam link>
From different IPs.

To revert a page, click history, click the date of the last correct version (for example, "18:52, 15 June 2007"), and you'll see the article as it was. Edit that, and when you save, you'll save the older version over the new version.

It seems we are not alone.
From wiili.org (a wiki about Wii homebrew):
June/12/07

Under attack by spam bots, new captcha system installed. Thanks for everyone helping roll back changes made by the spammers. Special thanks to Henke for his continous help on our community.
Some bastard has made a spambot that's now spamming every wiki it can find.
