Well, the article is a prime candidate for deletion considering TU's very small fanbase. If I wasn't so biased I myself might have nominated the article for deletion.

By biased I mean I'd prefer the game to have an article. :P

thats pretty much my view on it jay.

so what if it doesn't directly follow the rules exactly to the extent of a real life persons biography or whatever. as long as it harms nobody, they shouldn't be sitting there crying about it and trying to get it deleted.

just enforces my theory that most people will go out of there way just to be able to complain about something.

Would be nice if others would take some initiative, follow my lead, and write e-mails to space related sites in the hopes of community articles as well as advertising.

As I've said before, fan sites are not allowed as sources on Wikipedia.

Yes...but it's not too late yet.
If you've got sources, you can go to the Deletion Review and request undeletion.

None of the websites I sent e-mails to have responded. They must not check their administration e-mail addresses very often.

I know what to do.

The solution is to point all broken links to the universal wiki mirror. Ya know, there are some links on MMORPG page, free online RPG list, etc... that now points to a song. Just make them point to our wiki and surfers will get the same information as before, and even more! Many won't even notice the change from wikipedia to universal wiki.

It doesn't matter where the actual page reside, as long as links point to the real thing.

Actually i'm gonna fix it myself, when I have time

There isn't any point. The devs know how to get players, in droves, but that isn't the problem. The problem is *keeping* the players.

After looking at the wikipedia discussion on The Universal's deletion I noticed no-one posted a link to the Gamespot Review that was mentioned by Midnight. Is this not a reputable source,is the deletion a done deal, can this be brought back up?

The Universal is a massively multiplayer online game with customizable worlds owned by players. The game features space combat, unique economies, intelligent wildlife, and customizable content.
Is the extent of the page. It wouldn't count a source.[/quote]
