What do I need and need to know to host A-tractor?

I was thinking about hosting A-tractor in one way or another. What can you suggest I need to know before geetting to deep in this?

need to now where to download the current island version, which is currently unavailable

also need to know how to modify the client because the currently visible islands are coded into the client this version

We have a vague target date of the start of july for having the worlds available publicly. By then, most people will be using the galaxy client which allows new worlds to be added and moved around at will. (i.e. the 'server list' is dynamic)
