Well it's quite simple really... Just take a look at their forums and the amount of crimes against the english language that make up the majority of that place (Go pick any post, you'll see what I mean)... But it's not just the poor grammar/poor spelling, it's the way they portray themselves as not being the most upstanding individuals on the face of this planet (Large amounts of flamers, trollers, and the likes)...

I'm not saying we'd attract all of their forum riff-raff BUT to think we wouldn't pick up a large amount of riff-raff at all would be wishful thinking. Don't get me wrong though, I don't feel advertising is a bad thing, I just think we should approach a much different demographic. (Pardon the cynicalness of the above)

Even though this advertising may bring in bad elements, I think it will bring in an equal amount of good elements as well.

That only depends on where you advertise it. Some places it'll bring in mostly good elements, others bad.
