Zoric 19 now open! - a rerelease of the great zoric 17

zoric 19 is now started
it is a re-release of zoric 17 with minor fixes to the buildings to make the world run better.

for those that do not know, zoric 17 was the best zoric to run since zoric 2, i'd even go so far as to say it was more popular then ariya. the origional zoric 17 is now known as sabrada.

this re-released zoric 17 has tweaks to the economy to help balence out some things that weren't right last time around.
-food should now be easier to be makje.
-farm capacities have been lowered due to the flooding that occured last time it ran.
-the tax refund items are gone (so no more free money by sitting on your butt owning 10 mansions)
-balenced out the oil/chem demand. last time chems were needed for virtually everything. it was nice because any new player to the world could get into the chem business and make money easily. this should still be possible, but some of the buildings that needed chems have been changed to needing oil because oil was pretty much worthless last time.
-replaced the cheap trucks with boats. the trucks were never used so its no loss
-added capacities to the houses so more expensive houses can hold more items (you need 50.6 for this to work)
-changed the restaurant to sell meals that when 'used' will give you a full meal which includes appatiser, drink, main course, and desert.
-theres a bunch of scripted in messages to notify players when a town is built and other things that a person would typically be proud of.


anybody that has played zoric 17 or the current sabrada will already now what zoric 19 is about, since it mostly is a direct copy of sabrada.

Building Limits: upto 20 of one type, 20 types, max 20 buildings
Max Jobs: 4
Max Skills: 16
unemployment benifit: 5s
gov wage grant: 5s
skill levels: yes
stock your own stuff: yes
weapons: free, on planes only, and theres no penalties for fighting
can you be an op: NO

speaking of ops, there will be very few since i'm around most of the week anyway. past 2 zorics when i made ops i ended up getting tons of 'if he's an op i should be too' crap, people who did that stuff wont be made ops this time. its less of a hassle to have no ops.

Personally, I'd have to say I liked Zoric 18 better... :\

Nah, the economy moved too slow.. thats one of the reasons why Zar wanted to reset..

I like it now :D The only thing I don't like is that a lot of things require money to be made, like oil, chems, ferts, etc.

minor change...

on July 27th a fire broke out in a sawmill on zoric. there were no injuries at all as the one lazy worker was asleep in the breakroom. once the fire was putout an invistigation discovered that the fire was caused by the saw blade overheating from cutting so many trees.

the zoric health and safety commitie immidiatly held a meeting to find a solution. what they came up with was to lubricate the saw blades in all sawmills to reduce friction and heat buildup. so as of now, all sawmills need 5 oil and 2 trees to make the 5 boxes of wood. a welcome side effect of this to many is that as a resault of the lubrication, the sawmills have become slightly more effecient and can get more out of a tree which resaults in slightly cheaper wood.




(and for the people who don't understand the above :P )...
it was origioanlly in the bdatfor sawmills to make wod out of 2 trees and 10 oil. but for some reason that change wasen't showing in the world. it now is. but, sicne the world already started, i lowered the 10 wood to 5 wood and reduced the ferts that trees need to counter the oil. so now trees need 400 fert instead of 500 fert.

Would it be better if we could change to buildings to another one like a fruit farm to a vegetable farm change to buildings with the same tax to build and same mats.Because if you demolish you loose money so it would be better is we could change the buildings to another. If any one like this idea please post and tell

No, he can't. Mit will have to make some feature like that first. You'll have to post in the feature request forum if you want to be able to do that.
