Removing buildings

I can't seem to remove some towns I've build and I can't access them, is there any way to reset them?

on your world?
drive upto them and type .destroy
or .setowner them to be owned by you or .setteam yourself to whatever team there on and destroy them via the menu

It says "Hum, something wrong, building # 4 doesn't exist! Tell Mit.

mm, this sounds like you've cleared your buildings.dat?

No but I did update it, changed names and so on.

Actually I think I solved it myself, not sure through, but is it so that you cache towns on users?

you could see the building there ingame?
or was it gone and you just coulden't build there because it said there was one there?

if it was the 2nd thing, then it could have been a ghost and typing *clearlostbuildings should solve that.
