i mean, hell, he was asking for help on making a game with some of the features of this one, with planets, and with space. why make a new one when he could just play this one?

true it could be for 'learning', but how could the staff of any closed source game who puts lots of time and effort into a game like the fact that somebody is going to try and make a copy of it? especially when theres plenty of stuff provided in the game to teach him how to program for it and when good, could possibly join the dev team and actually program the stuff he wants. either way, the stuff could be requested.

it even bugs me, but i'm trying to avoid any big argueing about it. its not the space thing that bugged me (true, theres many space combat games). its the planet part. this is the only game i know of that has this type of in-depth, customisable planet coding. many people (staff AND long-term players) have put a ton of effort, time, and money into making the game what it is now. it'd be horrible if some other game opened up to compete with the small playerbase we already have.

i see ur point. lucifer, u should just help out the dev team by doing things like modelling and coding, not wasting ur time making a new game.

im sorry you feel that way but we arent making a game that way we are only doing a 2D dungeon rpg first, who knows about my inspiration but when i do have enough experience i will help with this game i think it is awesome. im sorry all but if you want to help here just ask me and i will give you the link to some help.
