Description:
When you relog back in and you are at the welcome screen.
Thinking should I or should I not continue the game, or checking out the other things you can do from the welcome screen. The alam bells came on plus saying I is under attack.
Other players can see you in space. This is the same as the station bug,
befor it got fixed.

Steps to Replicate:
Relogging back in or
If you hit F12 while under attack. Wait for awhile relog back in
and befor you hit the continue button, the alam bells go off.
( It just happen to me. ) Shorty38201 or Denkal can confirm this,
one of them would of fired at me even though I was still at the
welcome screen thinking should I or should I not continue the game

Well I say it is.
All I well say is this.
How would you like it if you Hit F12 to log out of game while in space. Restart the game some time later and befor you even had a chance to hit continue game you are attacked.
You have hit the continue button wait for the screen to come up, then you have to try and fight your way out. This will depend on the type of ship you have.
If this is the case why have a welcome screen, if other players can see you. but you can not see them. Plus at the welcome screen you can do other things.
Is this far on the player who has just restarted the game.
If this is not a bug then I will be thinking long and hard to wearther I will continue playing.
Seeing as there is no warning about the welcome screen in the help files.

The chances of someone attacking you in space the .8904 seconds it takes you to click "continue" is very rare... While people hitting esc to escape losing their cargo would happen quite frequently. Maybe it would be possible to make it impossible to return to the welcome screen after starting the game...
a bug is a bug. even if it is a small one.
your looking at the welcome screen when you first log in. if you goto look threw the avatar list, your still in the welcome screen. if you click the help area and read a bit, your still in the welcome screen. you shoulden't be active in the game before hitting continue game, because, the continue game button is there to continue your game.

already been a few posts by people who logged off while NOT in red alert and came back to find there things missing. they could have hesitated at the welcome screen for whatever reason and been attacked. then, not knowing they were under red alert, logged off.
