Trimming it down to the core, its basically a big crow fighting game. Upon landing you will see a Team Selection Screen. Team 1-4 selections. Currently the .team command works ingame to swap but will soon be restricted.
you will (SHOULD) find yourself in orbit of or near your home planet. F8 toggles planet orbit. Viewing the map (f7) will show a map full of planets, and a color key at the top of what planets belong to what team. Grey planets are 'neutral'.
Right now the basics of playing are 1: Enter orbit of home planet. 2: load marines 3:deploy marines on neutral planet until marines are depleted 4: Capture Planet for your team. you can then use the marines from there and/or your home planet to capture all of the planets to win the game.
the .crow# command is free for use. Crow 1 and 2 are setup pretty well functional, just enough to make the game work though. Also Crow 8 (*this crow must be used to capture the target planet*).
There are weapons setup, not sure how balanced they are until some ppl et in there and play around. im sure they are pretty well way off tho

Marines generate at varying rates and amnts/max. there are 4 types of planet, a basic, simple to capture with a few marines, federation home planet, that holda bit more marines, pirate outpost planet that hold like 300, and generate rather quickly, and a military outpost planet that also hold and gain a high amnt/rate. All the numebrs there are random but ballpark.
Deplete enemy planets marines to turn their planet to neutral. Your crow will receive damage from planet defenses when in orbit of their planets. Orbiting a team planet will recover damage, however.
As more features are avbl, things like planetary trading will be worked in, planet to space station, and more little interesting things i could scheme up in there =)
come play around, it shold be pretty basic and easy to do right now, ill be around doing some tweaks on it here n there.
