Description:
I was in m315 by planet vector last night with kb32a. I used inf drive to go to m-225 by zion.
I was there a few minutes when blam - incoming missile and counters screen popped up. I managed to use 5 counters against 5 missiles, although they were completely inneffective against lordmyrths missiles.
kb32a can confirm i was in m-225 because he did a search while lord was doing his dirty dead!
I could see lord right in front of me in m-225 and even got his shields to light up when i fired lasers. At the same time he swears he was seeing and fighting me at vector.
I was unable to use missiles to defend myself, just kept getting the "weapons r banned in fed space message.

Steps to Replicate:
Ive heard of this one happening in the past, but its the first (and hopefully the last) time for me so unable and unwilling to try to replicate !

This is (probably/possibly) fixed in 0.50.5.
I found a place in the code where i'd left myself a clever little TODO note of the form 'TODO!! - Check to see if the player is in the system we think he is' next to a bit of code i had written yet. Thats written now, and should stop it happening if it was indeed the problem.
Im not totally sure what the root cause of this would have been (hence the 'probably/possibly' disclaimer) so it may need some more investigation. If it does re-occur please bump this thread open again and i'll look further.
