Speed in space is slower for new players (Fixed)

Kinda slow, people are asking why they only go 15.0 in a cargo transport etc. and only 17.20 using page up. In galfreighter, a person who was slow in cargo transport can only do 22 - 24 with it, which is still amazingly slow. You can see this in places like the main systems where although it appears they are doing say, 50.00, they are infact doing about 15.00 which can be proved by using second ion drive and been slightly quicker than them.

With that ranking system, probably a D but its meaning it takes new players 11 minutes from zion to imperial which is about the time it took me in a cargo transport from zion to syv. You see the difference, they are going amazing slow at full speed. If you need verification, i know Crazywulf as this problem, so does a couple of others who have asked why they are so slow. Best time is of course, afternoons when more new players are on, just ask them to go full speed and tell you their readings or i can collect some for you

BTW, nobody who i know who's been here over a week as this problem, so probably since 0.50.4?

well spotted, gavin. I'd foolishly removed the ion drive from the default items list (coz its wasting precious inventory space) but forgot to take out the code that slows you down if you dont have one. Is fixed in the latest .4 client versions now on the downloads, so any more new players shouldnt have the problem.
I've granted ion drives to existing players in case they dont have one. (Will remove em all once everyones on .5)

The only thing I can see that has been changed is that some of the planet have changed to grey. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the new game client.
Top speed for the cargo transport is 17.40. about 1/3 of norm speed.
Yep I reset. Got mad with the game, cause ya keep changing system 209. Or ya could say I is having one of them days.
Any how all new players can only travel at 17.40 or 15.00, in there cargo transport.
An man this is slow as slow can be.
