Help!

I recently had to do a system recovery on my computer, and this deleted the universal in my programs list, so i re-downloaded it. Then it came up i had to enter my name and email address and such.

It also said "As this is your first time playing" does this mean i need to start again??

If you enter the same names and password, then no, you won't have to start again.
If you have forgotten your galactic character name or password, you'll probably have to start all over again.

Why cant 2 people use The Universal on the same computer?

I enter the same stuff I had a long time ago and I had to START OVER AGAIN! I lost all my stuff! I lost a computer for a year and my stuff get wiped out!

thats because of worlds reseting and the inactivity timer in the galaxy.

nazz:
its a security issue. if people could make multiple accounts on a pc, they could easily cheat by making many accounts and pooling the money.

Only reason I was inactive because I lost a friken Computer! How was I supposed to log in durning the summer?

the games programming is unable to detect why a player goes inactive

besides that...no friends or family or public librarys had a pc you could have used to come here and post a message so mit could freeze your account...or log in with?

See...my dad set up a account on the universal after my one was deleted but now i cant use it because he's got his own account. He played it and didnt like it so he is willing to delete his one so i can have my one. Im ok with starting again just that i dont know how to delete my dads one.

Sorry for the delay..
Can you find out the password your dad used on his account? If so, re-enter your username and use the same password - the gal will recognise the PC and password being correct so will change the username on the account registered for it.

Alternatively, let me know the user name (not the 'nickname') that your dad used and i'll delete that account..

nazz unfortunately that record does not exist in the galaxy server so am unable to delete it, are you sure that was his username not his nickname?

There's no record of that name in the galaxy. So it isn't that (or someone's deleted it)

if you could go on it, why not just use it and change the ingame name to what you want?

if you create a new account and have the old one deleted, you'll have to restart on every world you've been on with the old name.

in space, hit F1, goto the file menu, select change nickname
